The Osun State PDP’s governorship candidate, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has been dragged to court by some aggrieved members of the party for alleged non-possession of primary school certificate. According to reports, the members are seeking that the court grant an interim order to set aside results of the governorship election that produced Adeleke. The plaintiffs are also asking the court to grant an order restraining the PDP from presenting Adeleke’s name to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the September 22nd governorship poll.                  Troops recover large cache of arms in Southern Kadun a The recently launched Operation HARBIN KUNAMA II by the Nigerian Army in Southern part of Kaduna State which will cover some forests in Bauchi, Kano and Plateau States has started to yield the desired result as troops of 1 Division Nigerian Army recover large cache of arms and ammunition in southern part of Kaduna State on Saturday, April 22. The discovery was made when troops embarked on cordon and search of Gwaska, Dangoma, Angwan Far and Bakin Kogi general area of Southern Kaduna State. During the operation, the troops recovered 73 Dane Guns, 4 Locally Made Rifles, 1 Locally Made Machine Gun and 1 Locally Made Pistol. The iron bender/welder from Urhuoka - Abraka was hacked to death by Fulani herdsmen on Monday, April 24. See previous report  here New details have emerged on the circumstances surrounding his death. According to eyewitnesses from the community, the deceased usually spray insecticides on his farm for protection.
